Children & Nix 18
For participation in a guided tour of the whisky distillery, we apply in principle a minimum age of 18 years. Research has shown that excessive smoking and drinking by parents leads tothee same behavior in children. We therefore recommend avoidinthede use of alcohol and tobacco products the de presence of children as much as possible. Bus Whisky therefore discourathes de participation of children in our tours, although we realize that it is sometimes difficult gtheen de family situation.
We have special NIX18 coloring pages for kids about distilling. These highlight the technique of distilling, thee biology of yeast anthede unhealthiness of alcohol. While parents participate the de tour, children can have fun with this coloring page.
